Parents Plus ADHD Programme Facilitator Bristol Training in collaboration with the Families in Focus Parenting Team
Parents Plus has been working in partnership with Bristol City Council for over a decade to successfully deliver Parents Plus programmes to parents and carers across Bristol. Now, we are excited to offer the opportunity to attend face-to-face training in the Parents Plus ADHD Programme (PP-ADHD) in Bristol.
The training will take place over three full days:
Dates: Tuesday 6, Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 May
Venue: Lockleaze Sports Centre, Bonnington Walk, Lockleaze, Bristol. BS7 9XF
Times: 9:15am to 4:30pm each day.
Cost: The cost of this training is €630 per person plus materials at €350 including postage.
Materials can be shared between 2 people from the same agency as needed.
The Parents Plus ADHD Programme Facilitator Training offers information and materials to enhance neuro affirming practice and support parents and carers.
The programme is a practical, solution-focused and evidence-based course that builds on parent strengths. It can be delivered over 8 sessions to groups of parents or to individual families.
Training as a Parents Plus facilitator is open to qualified education, mental health and community professionals who work with families.
This interactive training with lots of opportunities for participation and group learning, it will also be an opportunity to meet and share expertise with other practitioners from other agencies and authorities.
In addition to the ongoing support package and community of practice offered to trained facilitators by Parents Plus after completing the course, the Families in Focus Parenting Team can also offer ongoing support and partnership or co-delivery of programmes in partnership services.
